A Pathway: From Entry-Level to Leadership
This partnership is more than a training initiative—it is a career pathway.
Together, CiminoCare, Westhaven Learning, and The Art of Care Academy (TACA) are creating a structured, supportive journey that allows individuals to:
- Complete courses to be certified as a Home Health Aid ( HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). While gaining foundational, hands-on care experience
- Grow in confidence and competence through mentorship and real-world application.
- And our brand new offering – RCFE Administrator Certification Class.
We believe that people with a caregiving heart should have opportunities to hone their skills to support older adults in need of services and support in their home, senior living or skilled nursing. Some people don’t know where to begin are they need support and a flexible schedule so they can continue working. We understand that, and are growing the program offerings with that in mind.
And this year TACA through its collaboration with Westhaven Learning added the RCFE Administrators Certification course with a focus on supporting new leaders with a pathway to higher learning and career opportunities. CiminoCare has offered its culture focused Leadership Program for three years, and now with this partnership its future leaders have direct access to obtain their RCFE Administrator’s Certificate.
A defining strength of this collaboration is its commitment to modern, accessible, and engaging education. Innovative training models—such as scenario -based learning and blended education—are reshaping how students build skills. These approaches allow learners to practice clinical decision-making, strengthen critical thinking, and build confidence before stepping into real-world care environments.
Through Westhaven Learning and TACA, participants benefit from:
- Hands-on, person-centered training
- Real-life scenarios and mentorship
- Flexible and accessible learning formats
- A focus on compliance, clinical excellence and human connection
This helps ensures that students are not only technically prepared—but emotionally equipped to serve older adults with dignity and compassion.
At the heart of this partnership is a shared philosophy: care and compliance is not just a task—it is a relationship.
Training emphasizes:
- Understanding each resident’s history, preferences, and identity
- Recognizing subtle changes in condition and responding appropriately
- Partnering with residents, families, regulatory agencies and interdisciplinary teams
- Delivering care that honors dignity, autonomy, and connection.
Investing in People, Strengthening Communities
CiminoCare’s collaboration with Westhaven Learning and TACA reflects a deeper commitment—to invest in people.
By opening doors to education and career advancement, this partnership:
- Expands access to meaningful employment
- Builds a more diverse and inclusive workforce
- Strengthens the quality of care across communities
- Supports economic mobility for caregivers and their families
It also recognizes a simple truth: when team members feel supported, valued, and prepared, everyone benefits—residents, families, and care teams alike.
The future of senior living depends on more than staffing—it depends on leadership, compassion, and continuous learning.
